Due to the cancellation of the 2020 NAQT High School National Championship Tournament, there also will not be a marquee ACRONYM event in Atlanta as in previous years. In its place, however, we are excited to announce the ACRONYM League, a one-of-a-kind tournament for players all over the world who still wish to enjoy this question set.

Inspired by the structure of the Minnesota High School Quiz Bowl League, the ACRONYM League will consist of a series of three-round preliminary meets, followed by a playoff tournament for the league’s top teams. Games will be held via Zoom, on Wednesday and Thursday nights in May and early June, with the playoff tournament on a Saturday in mid-June.

Participation will cost $15 per player. Registration is open now; teams wishing to play should register as soon as possible here. More details on the tournament’s rules and format can be found at the quiz bowl forums here.
